I have heard it stated that "white liberal women ruined everything", this is largely true at least in my workplace as far as public outreach. It's white liberal women that think that they have some sort of moral authority to speak for the supposed downtrodden and oppressed.

Case in point, Columbus Day. Columbus Day is *the* offical holiday on record at state and federal level. There is no such thing as "indigenous people's day". But that is what they push here as far as public outreach. I work in cultural resources...It incenses me to no end.

I cast off Dan Carlin forever and realized he was partisan trash when he stated, "let's face it, Columbus was a bad guy", citing no proof nor any sort of context. That might be his opinion, but trying to state that as fact doesn't make it so when you're doing a historical podcast, he should endeavor to do better, but he won't because he doesn't have the education or nuance IMO.

If the Bible is to be believed, IMHO we are live in a time worse than Noah, and if things continue to progress, we'll owe Sodom & Gomorrah an apology. God will allow us to chastise ourselves due to mankind's rampant sin nature and rejection of Him. Nobody has to believe it, I do though. Those who push unfettered abortion and think it's okay for men to use women's bathrooms and those think it is okay for little boys to be little girls serve their father in the fires of Hell.

Thankfully, ever since I started hunting in 2020, those first 2 weeks of October are when I park my camper out in the mountains to hunt antelope, so I don't have to be around some of these people.

Yeah, Dan did that to a lot of people but not his majority. He figured out where his bread is buttered and did the calculations. Fair enough for him and his family. For me it was the heel turn from his Common Sense alien days to Trump is literal Hitler after his meeting with those DOJ people.

There sure does seem to be a biblical type reckoning that is headed all of our way, that we can agree upon. The current status quo can't be the future because it has no future. So something has to give.

Agreed. Yeah he lost me with that too during the last election cycle. Last year I tried to go listen to his more current stuff and I just couldn't do it anymore. If Trump was "literally Hitler", what does that make Joe Biden...? Carlin fails to apply the same standard across the board, so I couldn't take him seriously anymore.
