Narcissism by itself isn't a pandemic. Most people who have it barely have the intelligence to do anything with it.
It's the idiot savants or “we lucky few” are the dangerous ones.
Sadly. The majority of them find their way into government.

Non starter. The Ukraine will cease to exist before it becomes a full NATO member.C-Mag wrote: ↑Mon Aug 21, 2023 11:22 amNATO Chief Stoltenzwhateva now talking about peace negotiations that allow Russia to keep some of the conquered territory, Ukraine becomes a NATO member.
Narcissism continues. He thinks he gets to speak from a position of authority when he really has none.
They seem to forget that lying to Russia for the last 9 years, the sham Minsk accords, etc. Has turned Russia into a highly skeptical nation in dealing with the west.
NATO can no longer dictate terms. But the fact that they've now submitted to a smaller Ukraine is big.

And if you haven't checked a map lateley all of sub-saharan Africa from the Atlantic to the Indian Ocean is basically in revolt. A band of states not only seeking independence, but perhap an alliance that would control all north - south movement on the continent. When US Acting Deputy Secretary of State, Victoria Nuland, traveled to South Africa on July 29, her reputation as a blunt instrument of Washington’s hegemonic interests preceded her......
Nuland and her team were demonstrably unprepared to grapple with recent developments on the African continent — particularly the military coup that removed Niger’s pro-Western government hours before she launched her multi-stop tour of the region.
“In over 20 years working with the Americans, I have never seen them so desperate,” the official told The Grayzone, speaking on the condition of anonymity.
Pretoria was well aware of Nuland’s hawkish reputation, but when she arrived in Pretoria, the official described her as “totally caught off guard” by winds of change engulfing the region. July saw a popular military junta come to power in Niger followed military coups in Mali and Burkina Faso that were similarly inspired by mass anti-colonial sentiment.

I agree.Martin Hash wrote: ↑Fri Sep 01, 2023 3:19 pmNo traditional nation is going to follow in Woke footsteps; no amount of money, no threat, no appeal to democracy. They all now know that “democracy” means feminists in control.
Don't underestimate the involvement of the French in all of this. They are the major oil company in many of these African countries. Also, it could be the US destabilizing Europe (the French, in this case) not unlike the Nordstream bombing was carried out to crater Germany.C-Mag wrote: ↑Fri Sep 01, 2023 3:06 pmI'm using this thread as the catch all for US foreign policy.
African independence movements took US Foreign Policy 'Experts' completely by surprise.

Now, this is Africa. So control of nations is sometime measure in hours and days instead of years. But the fact remains that the US put tremendous investment in Africa since the BHO presidency and it looks like it has backfired. US clout in the world appears to be imploding.
No doubt, good call.Haumana wrote: ↑Fri Sep 01, 2023 11:06 pm
