The strategy behind all the baseless claims against Trump are the real claims against Biden - cover mostly but there’s an even more cynical reason: clueless voters will conflate Biden’s real crimes with Trump’s made-up ones.

The point in which the Democrats went from becoming a Constiutional Republic to a Constiutional Dictatorship.

This would no longer be a question, this would be backed by actions, and the DNC no matter who they put into the challenger seat would be destroyed. The Democrats themselves would have to explain how they could back a party that not only were slaveholders, but also the founders of the actions that made the US a Dictatorship.

With the Hunter Biden laptop, the 20+ shell companies, the laundering of money, and Hunter Biden not being recognized or registered as a Foreign Actor, the DNC has a lot of damage control to do and this is not one of those things that they can easily sweep under the rug if they keep moving in the direction they are going now.

I don't think that it is relegated to the "right." There are a whole set of moderates and Jimmy Dore type liberals that are coming along for the ride too. The center is being boxed in to having to pick a side.
