Re: Meanwhile in Ukraine
Zelensky has not been in Ukraine for nearly a month, and people are starting to notice.
Seymour Hersch has now written about it, rumors in the west speak of replacing Zelensky. More suggestions that Ukraine should take its losses and peace even if it means neutrality.
Globalists are heavily invested in Ukraine and I'm guessing they are starting to worry they'll lose everything if this doesn't end. Even in that merc video this average guy recognizes the foreign business investment.
Zelensky did not listen to the west about falling back from Bakhmut instead they lost a lot of troops and equipment. Wagner says it cost Ukraine 55,000 troops. The West is paying the Bill's and they are not happy

Re: Meanwhile in Ukraine
Totalitarianism and Statism are governmental concepts. Marxism is an economic concept that relies on the other 2.
Totalitarianism states can easily go Marxist (public owned) or fascist (privately owned). Or some bizarre combo like China (essentially fascist).

Re: Meanwhile in Ukraine
It's reported that Zelensky is now back in Ukraine. Some video was shown, but no conclusive landmarks that show he is actually in Ukraine. Ukraine has made two symbolic attacks in the last 2 days.
The first a wheeled vehicle incursion in Belgograd by 50 Soldiers. 33 were killed, 5 captured, and probably the remainder escaped. Then today an attempted suicide boat attack on the Black Sea fleet. The boat was destroyed. Ukraine claimed it was unmanned, but footage shows a driver before the explosion.
This thread paints a pretty bleak picture. I'm not certain it is this bad, but it may be.

Panic in the EU: Two fronts against Russia have failed - Now the worst is coming
The European Union has fallen into a "deep hole" in the hope of quickly breaking Russia, writes former British diplomat Alistair Crook in an article for Strategic Culture.

All the phonies with their analysis of how scrappy little Ukraine will win are being exposed, and badly.
Here's a very good analysis of the Ukraine War, unbiased too.
Mearsheimer explains that the numbers are simply against Ukraine the West. There will be no peace because each side see's this as an existential war. Russia's likely goals are taking 8 Oblasts, leaving Ukraine as a landlocked, isolated territory that is broken. I believe this to be true. Russia will take everything from Mariopol to Odessa, all the ethnic Russian lands, and I believe Poland will take about half of Western Ukraine.
Mearsheimer wisely notes, the war is not over, and many things can happen.

I know we’re an unusual bunch, but we all knew how this would go (assuming we didn’t get nuked).C-Mag wrote: ↑Wed May 24, 2023 10:55 pmAnyone that did is an outlier.SuburbanFarmer wrote: ↑Wed May 24, 2023 11:04 amWhoever could have seen this coming. Fucking idiots.

Proxy war was never going to hurt Russia significantly. Ukraine was never going to conquer anything against a semi-superpower. Hell, we knew in a day who blew up the pipeline.
Common sense has been painted as a ‘small fringe minority’ for years, but I think the average guy is much smarter than that.

My news sources have become so siloed that when I do hear the MSM side, I can't believe anyone would believe that shit?! I wouldn't know because I never talk politics with regular people anymore. Back when I did, I lost all my friends. If there is a sea change, I wouldn't even know it unless 1 or 2 of those "friends" came back and apologized to me.

I'm dumbfounded at how many times the propaganda works.
Rational people saw Russia Hoax, Covid Jab and J6. Now lean toward Slava Ukraina, Russia evil....
.. and it's the same propaganda team
