Re: Crows
A friend had a crow which used to knock on his window to get him up in the morning, it would then sit on his handlebar as he cycled to school. During breaks it would come and visit him in the playground and after school it would ride home with him. They went everywhere together.
Ever since I heard his story I've wanted one as a pet.

For legal reasons, we are not threatening to destroy U.S. government property with our glorious medieval siege engine. But if we wanted to, we could. But we won’t. But we could.

Turkey repopulation has been too successful. When one beats his predators through sheer numbers, one starts doing ever more dumb shit.
If anybody wants to go crow hunting in Tenn., let me know. Now that is a hard day's hike.

Re: Crows
I once took a bet that I could drop one in full flight with a shotgun. First I tried a .410--thinking it would be easy--but no joy there--then on to the twelve gauge. Those black bastards can see the pellets coming at them and they defy the laws of physics without compunction! I returned with two boxes filled with empty shells and a twenty without ruffling a feather.Fife wrote:Turkey repopulation has been too successful.
