A government allowance on your activity? Yeah that’s probably not good.

CO2Neutral. The company name. 1 laptop = 1 metric ton of CO2 value for Carbon Credit.

Why do I think this is a bullshit system?

They are just a grift to exploit the environmentalists. They often do more harm than help because they are usually backed up by lies, and encourage not limiting carbon output.

Aussies are once again leading the way into a hellscape. Banks are tracking customer carbon usage.

I listened to the entire thing; they attempted to do a lot of push on that we will be given credit (financial and carbon) for every computer we use and recycle through them (for now, it's only for MS Surfaces)... and honestly, if they removed the Carbon Credits part of it, I may be interested in them... but the fact they charge a premium for the Carbon Credits, it makes me wonder what the real story is here.

I know this is all Leftist bullshit, but I am more interested in how the process of the values of the recycle vs. what they will try to get for profit off of it. On top of the logistics, they want to pick up when they have 50 computers minimum... the cost to do this is going to be nuts...

If the choice is between inflation v. plunging stock market, let the stock market burn. “Investments” are passive income; you don’t actually produce anything, and certainly don’t earn it. They’re simple gambling and I don’t feel bad when gamblers lose their money. In fact, I don’t really like Capitalism but Free Markets are a great thing. (Capitalism is not Free Markets and vice versa.)

Liz Truss was rushed out of the PM roll quickly, I'm not sure why, but it's suspicious. Especially with who they replaced her with.
