I heard a very good interview of Vivek Ramaswamy where he explained how Wokeness took over. It starts with Black Rock, the largest equity investor in the world with $10 trillion in assets. It's them who insist ESG in the companies they invest in, which lets the FMWs squeeze by, which infects everything. Black Rock is a tool of the government that uses it to force globalist policies that can't get through the legislative process. TRUE Fascism!

He also blames corporate governance (pussy men subject to their wives & daughters) for letting it happen, and not pushing back.
