Beyond Woke

Well something unexpected happened today on YouTube. The tech/programming industry is natoriously woke, in fact they are probably they biggest advocates for woke. Today a YouTuber who I think is generally one of the better programming YouTube guys, and has mostly just stuck to actually programming topics, put out a typical woke video (although they started off in a direction that seemed like it was going to be intelligent and nuanced before quickly just diving into typical woke points). The amazing thing was the comments. I would have expected a mostly positive comment section about such a video, but it was quite the opposite. It was probably 90% anti-woke, and disagreeing with the video.

I think those who are for true equality and freedom are finally finding their voice and speaking up when they previously would have been quiet. It is not just us in our dark corner of the internet anymore.

I personally think the pendulum is swinging back the other way. I know some woke films have been shelved, the new bastard Tolkein content is getting universally trashed.

Yup! They canceled Batgirl after they spent 90 million on it. People in general are so sick of Wokeness and just want good entertainment that is well written.

Some of the anti-woke comments are salient and succinct - not you’re typical twitter/youtube trash. Perhaps in the past those with the capacity to write such things passed on doing so because they assumed it was just a childish twitter war. Maybe now they see the threat for what it is and feel compelled to push back.

So my niece came home crying yesterday because a black boy asked her out. She politely told him no. Then later on a “friend” of hers asked her why she said no. She said “I don’t find black guys attractive”. She was then called a racist by people in her school. My wife said the same thing happened to her back in the 90’s (but was never called racist). She never found them attractive and never dated one. She, like my niece, is only attracted to white guys and somehow that is racist and evil. I am so over this woke bullshit.

Why is it a shitty thing for blacks?
This is a individual preference. I don’t find black women attractive and I don’t find Asian women attractive, I find white women attractive and Native American women attractive. That does not make me racist. I treat people of all races with respect and that is what truly matters.
Every human should not have to be forced to be attractive to every single race. If that’s the case then you are not far from mandating mix race marriages/breeding…..like Hitler with a different twist. Pretty fucked up man.

Because they are being excluded from possible mates based on race - an immutable factor.

You trying to say excluding mates of a certain race is not racist is the same as the woke claiming men can give birth - your twisting a definition to uphold your world view.

In contrast, I agree that people should be allowed to exclude certain races from their pool of mates, but I recognize this is racist (a bad thing)… but I accept it because to me the right to freely pick a mate trumps rape - forcing someone to mate with someone they don’t want to.


Scarily - the cult of the woke would say ending racism trumps the women's right to life and/or procreation and try to eliminate her bloodline.
