Western Nations are now talking aid to countries needing food. Which as a decent person is hard to argue with. But these Western Governments can't be trusted, so I must assume this serves a larger agenda for them somehow.

Western Nations are now talking aid to countries needing food. Which as a decent person is hard to argue with. But these Western Governments can't be trusted, so I must assume this serves a larger agenda for them somehow.

Oh that ones easy. You pay a selected megacorp an outrageous amount of money for food essentials, in return for kickbacks, or you send the military to deliver MREs which you buy from another megacorp in return for kickbacks. Or do both.
