I saw it, we should all support it for a number of reasons.

1. It's unapologetically American
2. It doesn't preach Woke messages
3. The plot is driven by merit based people
4. It is shot in reality, not CGI Hell
5. It's just good entertainment.

This thing is blowing up the box office, and it should. The message is clear, Americans love strong, white male heroes, doing dangerous shit. All the plots and subplots revolved around successful, strong, white males. Maverick, Ice, Rooster, Hangman. There was some other window dressing, but this was toxic white masculinity for the 21st C.
