This is really cowardly of Europe. I'm guessing we are going to see all the Ukraine supporters protesting EU governments for being Pootin Apologists, and supporting Evil Russian Orcs invasion of a soverign nation with soverign borders. The EU is now officially funding the destruction of Hero Zelensky's Ukraine.

This is really cowardly of Europe. And so the dollar begins its fall. That was the main pillar of ‘reserve’ status. The rest is just pure intimidation at this point.

No matter how much the collapse will hurt me and my family, I can’t wait to see it raining banksters in New York.

Short-term gain. Long-term pain. The ruble isset to the gold standard. With the American dollar losing value over all the Russian ruble is going to gain value.

When the US is on more solid financial ground that will not be the case.

On top of that China and India are their partners. Neither are strong or secure.

That being said Russia has created it's own problems, on two fronts actually, if the US Becomes energy independent the cost of fuel will go down in the US. And because the cost of oil is universal when the cost goes down for oil the income for Russia will go down as well since its a globally traded item.

So with their income reduced they will be forced to print money which will reduce the value of the Ruble by any standard overall.

Russia is pretending they are in a good spot, when in reality their major source of income will only remain solvent as long as the price of gas and oil remains high.

Russia is OPEC but without the power behind it.

I think this will accelerate Western Europe's move towards renewable energy sources. They will no longer want to be so reliant on Russia. That is where Russia is misplaying their hand.

Deflation is not a bad thing unless your economy is built on selling debt. Russia on the gold standard and selling oil in their currency allows money printing - just like the US. They’re essentially making a play for a piece of the big pie. And winning. This is geopolitical chess, and he baited the west into a sucker move.
