Very nice.
Better if you can grow and can, but very nice.

If it gets bad, we have 2.5 acres. Right now it's conspicuously manicured with a maze, train track and playground, but I already know where I'd put a garden into 1/2 acre. There's also room for more fruit trees.

Best time to plant a tree is last year.

Gardens take quite a while to establish too. And fertilizer isn’t getting cheaper.

The best time to plant a tree is 5 years before the first time you thought about it.

You made a great move on stocking up on Protein. It's the most expensive and hardest to come by in crisis.

My recommendation.
Pick out a small plot, like 6 X 30 and plant Potatoes. You live in an Awesome area for growing. You plant 4 rows 30 feet long and you'll have 2-300 lbs of spuds by Fall.

That and your meat you've put away and you'll feed you and your extended family. You'll need about 25 lbs of seed potatoes

Go do some carp fishing. Some of the best fertilizer you can get. All it will cost is a couple of cans of corn, providing you already have fishing tackle.
There is a time for good men to do bad things.

For fuck sake, 1984 is NOT an instruction manual!

Oatmeal balls with corn. And corn spread across the area.

Great fertilizer, even better if you want to use the water they live in as liquid fertilizer too.

You’re burying carp in your garden?
