An ex-friend just came by unannounced. He was the one I got into it with about mandates. The first thing I said, before even "Hi," was "Don't mention war with Russia." Of course, without saying "Hi," he started in on Ukraine talking points. I let him have it with both barrels: 30 minutes at least, only stopping for a shot of Irish whiskey b/c St. Paddy's day. I'd never vote for someone who was either uninformed, compromised, or didn't live up to his own beliefs."

I've lost a few friends because of the mask mandate thing, then the Canadian trucker things, and there are a few religious nuts left that are probably going to disown me after I pretty much tell them that this entire issue with Russia and Ukraine is not as simple as waving a flag.
