I think it will make it worse. Look at the idiots who are supporting it. They will only be encouraged & elevated. A war under Biden is a Yuge loss for us.
But Ukraine is kicking the Russians' ass as it is. I don't understand.

Gets old, doesn’t it? Lying has worked for them for decades: keep on with a good thing.

there are 450 Minuteman III's on alert

and three SSBN's on patrol at all times with 72 Trident IIs

so a direct attack against the CONUS remains unlikely I would say

thing is, they would strike somebody else, avoiding us, but that would still be our problem
That is true…..anyone know where I can pick up some sunblock with 10,000,000 SPF?
we know from declassified Soviet plans in the Cold War

that they would avoid nuclear strikes against America, Britain & France

but they felt like they could nuke anybody else and get away with it

and as the Global Hegemon, that would still be our problem

This feels like a trap. I said that China would attack Taiwan, and I think they will. I think they are just waiting for us to make a move on Russia.

You got the wrong forum if you think we’re globohomos?

I don’t mind being part of the 10.

Ukraine is kicking the Russians ass at the tactical level

but the Ukrainians don't have the mass to overwhelm the Russians

so at best, the Ukrainians can force a stalemate

which is an operational level victory for the Ukrainians

but it still doesn't solve the problem of the Russians occupying Ukraine in the near term

Stalemate could mean that Putin unleashes tactical nukes.

there are three levels to war

tactical

operational

strategic

they are interrelated, but they are still levels unto themselves

you can win tactically, lose strategically

you can lose tactically, win strategically

in between, is the operational level, which is the most contested

plausibly, but what I would expect first would be Nuclear Deescalation

the brandish their tactical nukes, perhaps use them in limited fashion,

to try to force America to sue for peace

you have to factor in Russian Maskirovka too

if they use a tactical nuclear weapon

you can bet that they will deny it was them who did it

they will nuke something, then say it was NATO who did it

Russia Trolls will be all over the internet saying that it was NATO who nuked the Russians, bet that
