it's already happening

it's not a question of if America is going to get dragged in

it is now a choice between an American led decisive response

or the Europeans & Canada will drag America in by default as we cross the line first, we already are

in terms of a thermonuclear exchange, the Russians are aware that they won't survive that neither

things are not going to cut straight to interpolar exchange at the drop of a hat

you could fight World War Three for a long time before it came to that

in terms of tactical nuclear weapons in theater, that is already a possibility now

NATO is already fighting Russia now, the Russians could resort to Nuclear Deescalation at any time

just to restate and clarify what happened last night, as I understand it

two Royal Canadian Air Force C-130's flew into Ukraine, and dropped off a payload of weapons & ammo

that is a NATO military mission flown into the battlespace, over the Article V line

Russia immediately invoked casus belli, the right to retaliate, the right to shoot those planes down

ain't no way America is going to be able to sit this out

so I would say it would be prudent to start preparing to fight World War Three

start warming it up, and sending it to Europe,

before it comes at America out of the blue like Pearl Harbor

I would commence a strategic warning operation, and not a small one

a worldwide strategic warning to Putin

this is the brink of World War Three, you have reached that now

America is mobilizing for war, this is not exercise

B-1, B-2, B-52, F-22, send it to Europe

all available Carrier Strike Groups, start steaming towards Russia now

VII Corps, commence deployment to Germany, battle procedure, prepare to move

XVIII Corps, rapid deployment to theater, move out

the congress just signed off on $3 billion worth of weapons to be shipped to Ukraine, immediately

and they stated that this was just a taste, there is way more to follow

meanwhile, your economy is literally imploding, and you are only maintaining control by brute force

and you are stuck in Ukraine, you don't have an exit strategy, and it's already a quagmire

and it's not a slow bleed,

you have suffered as many casualties as the Soviets did in Afghanistan, in just three weeks

at the same time, America is asleep at the switch military wise, the US military is not at high readiness

so what do you do ?

do you just capitulate, when the war is a catastrophic failure, accept humiliating defeat ?

I would also suggest, that we can't judge this based on previous confrontations with the Soviets

such as the Cuban Missile Crisis for example

reason being, unlike Russia, the Soviet Union had a functioning government then

there were different power centers, no one person was in charge

so the Soviets could have a meeting, decide that Khrushchev is fired, Brezhnev is taking over

Russia on the other hand, is just a cult of the personality now, they've all been raised under Putinism

there is no government, it is just Vladimir Putin, he is a one man government

this is why I think they are panicking

because Putin is dragging them into the abyss, and nobody has the power to stop him

and the idea that they are going to take Putin down, I don't think so,

all sources in Russia state that they are terrified of Putin, and he's becoming more terrifying by the day

so nobody is defying him, and like most dictatorships, they are afraid to even tell him any bad news

because he does shoot the messengers
