Russia's Defense Ministry: Materials related to the Crimea-Congo hemorrhagic fever virus study project UP-8 and hantaviruses in Ukraine contradict US public statements that only Ukrainian researchers are active in Pentagon biological laboratories, without the involvement of American biologists.

One document confirms that all serious high-risk studies are conducted under the direct coordination of US specialists, the ministry said.
