I dunno. I am detecting a lot of radicalization here since I've been away. I think SuburbanFarmer is one of those Jan 7 insurrectionists now. It's kind of weird coming back. Maybe from your perspective of being in this water the whole time it's been heating up to a boil it seems normal, but it feels like a scene in Life of Brian in here. I thought the cat article was cute. Did the cat actual pee in your bed?
Where do you see anger?

Re: Meanwhile in Ukraine
oh, I must have missed your meaning there
I'm all good, but I am siding with the Ukrainians against the Russians, no apologies for it
if that makes me "them", whoever "them" is
so be it, is alls I'm saying
no personal beef against you

It happened on the 6th for starters. The fact that you even referenced that is a tell. It comes off as you watch too much tv, Corporate TV at that. Maybe you have been holed up with your weights too long getting swole worried about the pandemic?
Maybe you shouldn't be assuming that you can see anything from my perspective ?
That you don't see your own radicalization is another. Go back and read what you have written here since you came back.

Re: Meanwhile in Ukraine
The global network of institutions currently in the process of cancelling Russia, will eventually cancel me. Just like they canceled the Canadian freedom convoy, just like they attempted to cancel normal life for 2 years.
At the end of the day all Russia can do to me personally is Nuke the US. I live pretty close to a place that is a target.
Live Free or die.
This global network of institutions are a far greater threat to me, to my way of life. The Russians might kill me. They will cancel me.

We good.
I just have questions.
Not looking to you for answers nor holding it against you if you can't answer.
Shit is weird right now. So I'll keep asking around but the wife is ready to start taping up windows and getting our clean room ready.
So I am forced into this game theory by proxy.
Me? I'd rather just go into the night silently, however that happens.

You are asking him to be retrospective, that has never been one of his specialties unless it's been about his own physical self-improvement.Haumana wrote: ↑Thu Mar 10, 2022 6:17 amIt happened on the 6th for starters. Re: Meanwhile in Ukraine
I don't understand why you say Zelensky is "conceding"
you posed a question under terms which I would dispute
so that's a loaded question,
one where I would have to accept the proposition of Ukraine conceding something
when Ukraine is fighting as hard as any country ever has, against overwhelming odds
rather than get into a dispute about it,
I chose not to address that question, assuming that was my prerogative

Did Zelensky not say that NATO was now something that Ukraine is not pursing?Smitty-48 wrote: ↑Thu Mar 10, 2022 6:25 am

Maybe I have been mislead. But I have read reports of that conciliation.

to save his civilians from being slaughtered
I don't see it as a concession
since there was never any offer on the table from NATO for Ukraine to join
Zelensky cannot concede something which he never had in the first place
