Oh. Is that the story? So he is better off being an underling outside of the club instead of being in the club ?
of course he is

he is getting all the firepower of NATO,

without being subject to the 30 nation committee calling the shots

he is Emperor of Ukraine, with NATO weapons
Oh. So he would rather have that than Article 5? That's why he is conceding Putin's point? 25,000 anti tank missiles was the outbidding price?
Article V is a joke

watch what happens if someone invokes it

there is nothing in the NATO treaty that says NATO has to do anything specific

if NATO is afraid to fight Russia now, why are they suddenly not going to be afraid then ?

who says NATO is going to fight when Article V is invoked ?

who says they aren't just going to impose more sanctions ?

they have already run away in the face of nuclear threats from Russia

Article V has already been exposed as being a paper tiger

Agreed. So the paper tiger exposed thus far is NATO and Article 5?

thus far

it's possible that NATO could have all of its governments replaced by more hawkish governments now

in the wake of this massive strategic failure of the current crop of Neoliberal fops

Why is Zelensky already giving concessions while the US is ramping up pressure, if this is going how some of you are saying. Shit for Russia. Russia going down. Putin is losing.

I don't get it. (A little help here, please.)

Possible. But how plausible?

So NATO is currently inert. Are you suggesting that Zelenskyy knows this and is happy to cede ground to Putin about being a member in order to get some anti tank missiles from NATO members and be a proxy of a paper tiger, in hopes of a future possibility?

bro, even if they prevent this from escalating into World War Three

this is Cold War Two now

so we are talking world history altering event

this is now a global confontation which could last for decades

Globalism is dead, that just ended, although it will take time to play out

but countries will now scramble for energy security and secured manufacturing for war

this will be an arms race, proxy wars all over the world, the whole shebang

this is not late Cold War 80's style I'm talking about

this is hot Cold War right out of the 1950's

guaranteed to happen

this is at minimum Cold War Two,

so it will result in whole new much more hawkish governments running every country

I don't know if you quite grasp how big this is, what just happened

everything is going to change now, literally everything,

totally altered geopolitics, in the opposite direction it has been going since 1991

I get how big this is and I don't dismiss it. I just see it through a different lens than you apparently do. Ain't no think chicken wing.

2 guys much better informed than us discussing what’s happening and why. I learned a lot.

SJWs are a natural consequence of corporatism.

Still no answers to the questions that I asked.

Why is Zelenskyy already conceding if he is winning ? Why is the US playing their trump economic card if Ukraine is winning ? One side seems desperate but it isn't the side that you are telling me to cheer for.
