Ukraine will become like the Israel of Eastern Europe now

the congress will be bankrolling them with MIC deals

Ukraine will be getting F-16, Apache & Abrams, courtesy of Uncle Sam

maybe they will even seek nuclear weapons like Israel did

Russia took the gloves off, so now Ukraine is going to go maximalist in response

Why isn't Zelensky doubling down on NATO then?
because he is now in a much stronger position

he's being armed by NATO, they've shipped him 25,000 anti tank missiles in two weeks

but he is not constrained like NATO is, he can unleash NATO power without being subject to NATO

this is nightmare scenario coming true for Russia now

Ukraine will become a proxy of NATO which is more powerful than NATO itself
Oh. Is that the story? So he is better off being an underling outside of the club instead of being in the club ? Alright. I'll have to take your word for it.

Time will tell. But you never answered the direct question of why he is already acquiescing on NATO membership. Nor the other of why the US is already playing their strongest economic card. If the game is in hand already then why not keep that card?

Western Ukraine, sure. Donbass and Donetsk, never. Nuclear, I sure hope not because that doesn't bode well for the rest of us.

like Ukraine has nuclear power coming out of their ears

they have four nuclear power plants with fifteen reactors

what waste product do those reactors make ?

plutonium

and that's really all you need to make nukes

so Ukraine is a nuclear capable country right now

of course he is

he is getting all the firepower of NATO,

without being subject to the 30 nation committee calling the shots

he is Emperor of Ukraine, with NATO weapons

So why is there the lament for the Budapest Agreements that are portrayed as Ukraine giving up "their" nukes when the Soviet Union fell. Sure in theory they maybe capable with materials but do you really think Russia is going to let that happen? Speaking of Israel... Iran, anyone?

why not ?

this is on the Soviet trajectory now

Russia is going to implode at some point in the not too distant future

they will be broken, Putin will be gone,

the Russians will be losing their empire all over again

Oh. So he would rather have that than Article 5? That's why he is conceding Putin's point? 25,000 anti tank missiles was the outbidding price?

because they handed over their nukes in return for America & Britain protecting them from an invasion

now that the agreement has failed to prevent that invasion, America & Britain have fled

they will start a new nuclear program, using the plutonium at their disposal

Oh. I have no idea.

Why? Would be the other side of that question and just as valid.
