Soon government won’t be able to shut down competing voices by isolating them from money.
I like it.

We're going to set a new record on wheat prices

My brother just leased 2400 acres of wheat farm ground last year, his crop is in the ground. He should hit this just right.

Oil hits $ 112 / barrell................... $ 7 gas predicted

This is a designed policy, not a series of unfortunate events. Trump proved we could be energy independent and have cheap fuel in the 21st C. Imagine how much money the US would be making right now if we were exporting instead of importing.

I really can't see ESG policies as anything other than repackaged totalitarianism. Pick a better metaphor but the end result seems to be similar enough. Corporate/Government/Cartel destruction of the yeoman/ freehold/entrepreneur.

More local observations.

The YMCA where I work out has been offering $15/hour for lifeguards. Remember not long ago when $15 was the magic number needed to cure poverty. Well, it's here and guess what? They can't find anyone willing to take it.

Just a couple years ago this was a location where at least 6 lifeguards were needed on duty at a time in order to staff the main lap pool, a small swim lesson/old person floaty pool, and a water park with slides, tubes, etc.

A couple of years ago all were open most of the day and were packed with people. Kids filled the water park all weekend and anytime school was out. Today the only pool open is the main lap pool staffed by a single lifeguard. The water park is only open for a couple of hours a week, and even then the slides are closed because they can't staff it.

Yet my monthly dues keep going up.

Wonder if it's time to stop subsidizing farmers?
