There is no logical reason for the US Leaders hawkish protection of Ukraine as it is. It's a failed criminal state. I can only conclude there is something in it for them, because I can't see what's in it for the US.

Putin so far is leaving the major Ukrainian dominated ethnic areas alone. Looks like to me he is taking back Russian ethnic territory in modern Ukraine. He talked about this a bunch in his speech from last week, how modern Ukraine was a forced nation by Communists and Leninists.

He is going to force new borders on the Ukraine, one that is land locked, and ethnically dominated by Ukraines, and probably not one that Deep States cares about much. I wonder if they will find and publish digital information on the money laundering happening in the Ukraine.
