we just got back from a wildcat protest against Doug Ford at Queen's Park

the police have set up roadblocks everywhere, starting on the highway into the city

down in the city, it's like dystopic science fiction future, like Blade Runner, people wearing masks everywhere

all the parking meters were disabled with parking enforcement lurking everywhere, so nowhere to park

so rather than walk in, I decided to drive all the way to the protest

I know Toronto, so I picked my way though back alleys and side streets to evade the cops

we reached the protest, then we joined in with the convoy of pickup trucks honking and waving flags

it was like a traffic bomb, total gridlock

more and more police officers coming to our side all the time

In Ottawa, we are dug in with the big rigs, but they are preventing that with the roadblocks in Toronto

so in Toronto it is a roving blockade

we sneak past the roadblocks in pickup trucks & sportscars

get inside their perimeter, then fly the colours, honk the horns, and blare the tunes

grinding the whole downtown core to a halt
