Dude, if you ever come over to the mainland again, bring your wife and I'll put $1000 worth of fine whiskey into you.Haumana wrote: ↑Thu Nov 25, 2021 12:26 pmrighteous! We went down to Malaekahana for a T-Day picnic. Took the pups. Paka is the Destroyer of Crabs. He got to patrol our section of the beach for a few hours. Nothing better than having dogs off leash on the beach. I love watching them just be.

Happy Turkey Day gents.
I've always made sure we go around the table and say what we are thankful for. I always say the same thing, best country in the world, best state in the union. This year I noted that we aren't in Oz where they are putting COVID mandate deniers on trucks headed for camps, or the coastal tyrannical states.
The kids really didn't want to hear it, but hear it they did. Perspective is important.

I brined a turkey and got the end results to look nearly picture perfect. My wife pulled at the leg and the bone came out clean.
We had Thanksgiving by ourselves. It was one of the best ones I've had in a long time.
