Been thinking of your French Revolution analogy, not bad.

A lot of the same precursors are with us today.

the analogy is that the Bourbonite King is cloistered in his ivory tower, surrounded by sycophants and thus detached from the reality on the streets

then on the streets you have the Commune which is evolving into a Bolshevist Terror

your problem is more that the revolution is not going to be a War of Independence

it's not going to be Yeoman Farmers invoking a Creator to restore inalienable rights

instead, when the system crashes, the masses are just going to panic and double down of centrally planned authoritarianism all the more

all roads lead to some form of Communism at this point, it's just a question of which brand of Communism is going to prevail

Not looking forward to the same 10-20 year shaking out period

Causes of the French Revolution and us.
✔ Financial Crisis caused due to Costly Wars
✔ Drastic Weather and Poor Harvests in the preceding years
✔ scarcity of food
✔ Tax burden of average folks
✔ unfair distribution of taxes
✔ unfair voting system
✔ Social Inequality
✔ Suppression of entrepreneurs

Shitlibs findout the supply system is failing............. and they tip their hand
This has not yet added up to a recession. But it portends a massively frustrating holiday-shopping period.................How will the everything shortage be resolved? One possibility is that Americans adopt a sustainable, ascetic, and homespun lifestyle that reduces our dependency on goods that activate the global supply chain........... That’s why Joe Biden's Build Back Better plan includes billions of dollars to reshore manufacturing, invest in basic research, and beef up domestic supply chains.

They are crashing the supply chain and economy to demand that we pass the Elites build back better

They are hiding it best they can, there will be a point where it is no longer hidden.

Here's the list of current US national shortages
Small arms ammo
Service industry labor
Corn
Timber products
Poultry
Semi conductors
Chlorine
Blood
Truck Drivers
Beef
Paper
Bus Drivers
Public transit

These affect all states to varying degrees

They are trying to avoid the financial crisis by printing money like there's no tomorrow. Going all in on Modern Monetary Theory. The weak point is. of course, supply. In Communist Europe, everyone had money, but there was nothing to buy. That is where you're heading.

The communists paid people to do bullshit, fake jobs. The US simply pay people for not working, skipping the charade.

The tipping point is hunger. Always was and always will be.

How far away is hunger?

After having spent the last 72 hours in Komiefornia. They have the kids and the young adults. Anyone under 30 and over 50 is bought in. If the manta of "How goes California, there goes the country." has any semblance of truth to it, we are fucked. It's depressing and I can't wait to get back to my hovel in the country. Even the people (Family) who sort of agree with me don't do it from any sort of try harder to be informed stance. More just a Fox news type of stance but they can't even discuss any sort of nuance. I guess they are allies but holy shit I wouldn't want them out there leading a movement.

We have been boat raced. Pearl Harbor on steroids is what this is.

I am at my most pessimistic state right now. I need to get back to my country insulated existence just for my personal sanity. Leave these people to eat each other and see what sort of monster washes up in my own life.
