https://www.walesonline.co.uk/news/heal ... d-21665863However the data clearly demonstrates that people are far more likely to wind up in hospital should they have received no jab at all.
Public Health Wales has explained this by comparing the rate of hospitalisation in vaccinated and unvaccinated people per 100,000 population – similar to the seven-day Covid infection rate reported each day.
In the four-week period between August 23 and September 19 the Covid hospital admissions per 100,000 people was 32 in fully-vaccinated people and 53 in unvaccinated people.
In the over-60s, where people are far more likely to need hospital treatment, the Covid hospital admissions per 100,000 was 63 in fully-vaccinated people and 121 in unvaccinated. This means that if you are unvaccinated and in this age group you're twice as likely to need a hospital admission.
Raw data can be misleading.
Over 90% of the adult population in Wales are fully vaccinated. So less than 10% of the population who are unvaccinated people make up around 33% of covid cases.
For legal reasons, we are not threatening to destroy U.S. government property with our glorious medieval siege engine. But if we wanted to, we could. But we won’t. But we could.

Typical liberal, trying to argue against points that were never made.
I haven't seen anyone arguing that getting the vaccine won't reduce the severity in general, especially in people who are at higher risk.
What logical -minded people are arguing against are the anti-science fear-mongering and the insane rules being put in place as a result.
If someone doesn't get vaccinated, it's on them, and the vast majority know and accept that. It does not however, make them more dangerous to those who have been vaccinated. That is one of the many lies being propagated through media the brain-dead cult of muh VAX!
My wife watches tic tok quite a bit and it's full of crying moms pleading for people to get vaccinated because their 6 year old son can't sleep at night due to a constant fear of dying from COVID. If only everyone would get vaccinated COVID would be gone and little Timmy could sleep again. Except that articles like the one posted prove that even if we had a 100% vaccination rate, COVID would still exist.

I get it.
You want an echo chamber where no one disagrees with you.
How's that working out recently?
