with Szabo, he has a tumour growing out of his groin

they can't operate, he's too old, he has a heart murmur

but he manages to enjoy the days, because the tumour is growing out instead of in, so he dodges the bullet for now

he's in the final days one way or the other, but he is not suffering, he's still living his best doggie life, so we just roll with it

Georgia is a handful for Jodi, because she pampers her, Georgia runs amok on Jodi

the puppy is so full of life & energy at this age, she is go, go, go, from dawn till dusk

but Georgia obeys me without hesitation, she's quite wary of me, she sees me as the alpha, so all is well

Georgia is a princess, she sleeps on a king sized bed, head resting on Calvin Klein pillows, she is spoiled like a grandchild

but I maintain a level of control, the benevolent yet demanding master

under my command, she is an exceptional retriever, straight down, straight back, drops the ball at my feet

we got our money's worth with Georgia

she's military grade service dog level of comprehension

although she is pampered, she sleeps in bed with us, she is the princess

she's a warrior princess tho

she has a perfect internal clock, she waits until exactly 7am every morning before waking us up

she sounds the alarm at the approach of anyone up the driveway

she retrieves with a fiery passion, a hunting dog thoroughbred

I've been dog sitting the lurcher again. Twice while walking it around the farm I've had muntjac jump out of the hedge right beside us. Had to hold on tight or he'd have been after them.
This is the same dog that caught the deer I fed to Vinny Jones.

we are just kicking back on the patio right now in the perfect weather, third week of September still like August

Jodi is throwing the ball for Georgia, Szabo is being the fun police trying to put a stop to it

I've had about 30 jugglers here for the last 10 days.
Very lucky with the weather.
The last of them left today, just my friend Fiona still here now.
Lots of sitting around in the sun drinking. Couple of games of poker.

That's it now. No more camps, just winter to look forward to.
