This 4th I did the most patriotic thing I could in Mass just to piss off the leftist government here, I got myself a lower 80, with hardware shipped to my house

Threshing display at Brampton plough day on Sunday.
Restored Field Marshall to power the drum.
First threshing of the season.
Should be loads of vintage tractors and ploughing competitions.
For legal reasons, we are not threatening to destroy U.S. government property with our glorious medieval siege engine. But if we wanted to, we could. But we won’t. But we could.

That thing is impressive.
Here's a full list of the models made by Big Bud. http://www.tractordata.com/farm-tractor ... s.htmlThey were only made for 15 years. We had one when I was growing up, I think ours was a 400. They are impressive machines. What was better about them is they were assembled with commonly available components. The Axles, Transmissions, Engines were all used in other things and so parts were easy to get.

Wouldn't even get it up the lane to the farm never mind through any of the gates to the fields.
Our fields are all under 10 acres, I doubt you could turn it in that space.

Is this one of those, it's not the size of the truck, it's its motion on the field, sort of arguments.Montegriffo wrote: ↑Fri Sep 03, 2021 10:03 amLooks like a cross between a monster truck and a train.

Yeah, there are few bridges that can handle one. Designed and used for fields of thousands of acres.Montegriffo wrote: ↑Fri Sep 03, 2021 10:03 am

That Golden Triangle area where Big Buds were made and used probably produces over 50 million bushels a year.

Well, we all know that a big golden triangle requires a big truck to gather all the wheat.
