Well ... I was surprised to see him flip so blatantly and quickly.
But I tend to give people the benefit of the doubt, so I'm easily taken in by folks who make the effort to misrepresent themselves. Still, rather give someone too much rope than hang them prematurely.

I can say I didn't really have a political identity that I could consciously say this ideology I agree with pretty well (Classic Liberalism) But I will also admit openly when I've changed my mind or feelings on a subject, and I certainly won't continue to claim to be middle of the road.

There are certainly business reasons for a podcaster to claim Switzerland status, but if your taking Nazi Gold and ignoring the holocaust, I gotta call you out on it.

I don't see it that way today. I admit I was fooled that the guy was genuine. But he was genuine only in the Chris Hedges sense. He lays out true problems, but can only see one villain because he's been on that side all along.

Here's Hedges outright lying about Antifa. He says they disenfranchised by capitalism. He's critical of them, but makes excuses for them, painstakingly explaining why the need to exist while the entire time ignoring how well funded by big business they are funded.

No, absolutely not. I'm 100% Free Speech. This is a personal thing for me. I recognize how I misread Carlin because he pointed out a lot of good shit. I see the same in Hedges. I just won't fool myself that he is going to speak for me and that it's not the message I want to promote.

We can't be arguing either fascism or socialism is favorable, that's its just big business capitalism or its just Marxism. It's us against the tyrants. The Tyrants do a great job of funding division, in both political parties and on the street.
