I dont know how much you guys are following the Newsom recall, but look at how many pieces are calling this a coup.

So a bunch of progressives got the recall system we have in the first place, and rather than running a backup candidate of their own, they gamble on Newsom. And now that the people are voting against them, they are calling it a coup, and a neo nazi one at that.

Its no surprise of course, but coup has fast become lefty slang for the will of the people.
