I don't demand people thank troops for their service, it's often disingenuous. Not that people don't care, but that it's not in anyway a part of their lives and it's just something they say. But this situation happening right now is nothing but pure dereliction of duty from the Commander in Chief through the entire General Staff.
The set a date to withdrawl and failed to plan on what to do if the Taliban went on the offensive, it's clear by how we left Bagram it was not planned. Dereliction of Duty.
