The discomfort all came from the swamp, not Trump. Exactly WHAT could Trump have done against that besides capitulate?
I don't know what he could've done - usually the president is a lifelong politician with political and corporate cronies and connections.
Maybe Trump simply lacked the connections and relationships in the right places to get more done.
If so, I don't see how a second term will change that.
What killed the patient? The cancer or the chemo?

America is in a poor state right now, but I'm blaming the disease, not the recent attempt to cure.

I am... the Democrats before and now the Biden Admin took a chainsaw to the patient.

I blame the catastrophic military defeat of 2001

followed by the catastrophic financial crisis of 2008

this is how all hegenomy's have fallen throughout history

they overextend themselves, they run into catastrophe, followed by a collapse of faith

Redneck Renaissance. The pendulum has reached its peak.
That guys not a redneck. Scranton is urban street toughs, just as proud of America as Rednecks, but different. These are men of traditional industrial workers. Guys who give their life to the production of steel, and proud to do it.
That’s a redneck, in my book. Workaday guys without pretension.

Donald Trump’s fundraising committee has hired two political operatives familiar with campaigns in Iowa, the state that typically kicks off the race for the White House, signaling his interest in running in 2024.

An aide with Save America, the leadership political action committee that Trump began after losing the 2020 election, told staff and advisers in a memo Thursday that Eric Branstad and Alex Latcham are joining as senior advisers.

A Save America spokesman, Taylor Budowich, confirmed the hires and said Latcham and Branstad will help on “many political matters.”

in normal American circumstances, I would say Trump was finished

but the situation is not normal right now, the Democrats are propagating Orwellian lunacy

so I don't find it implausible that Trump could make a comeback in this situation

Not without Bannon. He’ll fall on his face.

That was the mastermind behind MAGA and all of the promises he made. Trumps only got momentum now. Might be enough to beat whoever runs in 2024, might not.

Smart move would have been Tulsi or Rand Paul.

well I am not going to abandon Trump until he is completely played out

first of all, he is the only leader of the GOP going into the midterms

so I will stick with him through that

after that, he may be able to win again in 2024

not so much becuase of Trump, just because the Democrats are so bad

I'm not throwing Trump under the bus, come what may

I know he is a scoundrel, but I can't help but like the man

he means well, his heart is in the right place, I will defend & uphold MAGA to the hilt
