I regret not cheating on my wife b/c that's an experience I will never have, and I want to do everything, but some things you just can't do. Perhaps she would have been okay if I hired a prostitute but I never asked, and know better not to. We were also offered 3-somes several times, and never took them up on it, even though everybody else but us was naked; that's another experience I'll never have. All I can say is if DrY and his wife got through it, who am I to judge: maybe she had a fling too? Plus, people change all during their lives: what they did they would not do now and vice versa.

at the point where they lash out at me & my wife, not with the truth, but with a false accusation attack

that person is not my friend anymore

there are many people who love me as I am, I don't feel the need to acquire friends for its own sake

like anybody else, you test people you suspect of being false, you evaluate their character

if they then fail that test, show themselves to be unworthy of friendship, you move on

if you are friends with people who are not worthy of that privilege, more fool you

Men past a certain age don't have friends; we have acquaintances that we're careful not to let too close. We're not women for chrissakes.
