thing is, a man has to ascend a male dominance hierarchy

Monte offers an honest glimpse of our antagonists. He has no mate, he will not procreate, he lives in an agricultural commune harvesting wheat with a sickle, and feeling superior to everyone on this forum; everyone in the world actually. He does not embrace The Enlightenment. He is the opposite of science, exploration & discovery. He has no goals & ambitions that you or I would recognize as valid. If not personally, in general, he wants you dead. We dismiss Monte as an aberration but he is actually the archetype of what we're up against, the male version. We have no contact with the female version here but Greta is that archetype. They are in ascendance that only helicopters can defend.
