but actually Stalin was mostly at fault, the Generals were obeying his orders

the Germans didn't really smash the Soviets in the early days because they had better Generals

Hitler simply took Stalin by surprise

Stalin was convinced that he had Hitler fooled, but actually Hitler fooled him

Hitler moved first, caught the Soviets napping, and then encircled them in a lightning war

but bear in mind that the German General's were not really in control

Hitler didn't listen to his Generals, so they were irrelevant, Hitler was directing the war himself

It's funny you mention that because I was just reading this bit about the election for Seattle Mayor - in which a front-runner is one of the woke council members who called for (and acted on) defunding the police:

My daughter was in the hospital and I was on a razor's edge.

So when I asked for a male mediator... they wisely agreed... I was going to go nuclear.

The mediator played it cool and when I talked to him later... he was totally onside.

The psychedelic revolution is now about human potential... its no longer about free love... its a performance enhancing modality.

Increasing the human potential of the largely white male military is scary to the woke revolutionaries....

But they are divided among themselves - BIPOC is a union of tribes that do not understand one another -
What do Black and Indiginous have in common - not to mention People of Colour.... indian, arab, african.... almost nothing...
And the LGBTQs... gays and lesbians and trans - mostly don't like one another....
The women rights crowd is intimidated and resentful of the trans and BIPOC crew who are the most outspoken play harder ball.
Each seeks an advantage for their own group... and see it as a zero sum game.
Also most of these LARPers are at least half white... and suffer from their own self hatred... identifying with their victim side at the expense of the rest of themselves.

Aren’t that all doctors or PhDs? Good breakdown of why they form circular firing squads when they get too powerful. I wish the American military hated the woke revolutionaries.
