Yeah, Trump for all his foibles has a sense of pride in America. He believes in the classic, traditional, American Dream that draws more immigrants from around the globe to our shores than the next five nations combined. He likes the nation. He likes the "marketing materials" (as a jaded MF like Dan Carlin would call them), he likes to dwell on our successes, not our failures.
Furthermore, he wants the nation as a whole to succeed, and successfully compete on the global stage in every arena.
