once you feel it, you are always trying to get that moment back

"Approach each and every law enforcement agency in your district that reports zero hate crimes or does not participate in hate crimes reporting to learn what's going on and why that's happening," the Justice Department’s number three in command said to the several hundred personnel listening.........

-All current FBI agents will get added hate crimes training at six regional civil rights conferences being held through the end of the year, including upcoming ones in San Francisco, Philadelphia, Tampa, and New Orleans.
-New agents will get the additional training at the FBI academy, starting with the next class this fall;
-The Bureau will commence fresh outreach to community groups, including those in historically underrepresented and targeted populations;
-The Bureau will be contacting every local law enforcement agency that has not reported hate crimes data to federal databases to ask why; federal statistics show this will total more than 3,200 agencies, based on the most recent year of data available;
-The FBI will offer additional help to local police departments in reporting and investigating hate incidents or crimes;
-And a nationwide anti-hate, multi-media advertising campaign, in part to encourage often-reluctant victims to come forward, will launch in the coming weeks and months.

for me, it's like a power that come upon me, it's visceral, I don't think it, I feel it

so I honestly spend most of my time just trying to process it in my chimp brain

it's so big, I don't have the capacity to process it all at once

I'm not trying to save the world, that's a fool's errand, I'm just trying to get right

that God is real, that it's not a metaphor, that sent me reeling, and I'm still kind of reeling about it now

He is large & bright, like the sky, in His presence, the outside world seems far away & dim

the power just keeps focusing me back on my wife, sacred marriage, that's where the presence steers me

there is an overarching & inescapable sense that this world is not as real as it seems, it's not the main event

this is a childhood, and it goes by quick, you only have so much time to get right

there is redemption, atonement, forgiveness, but still a warning ; get right, before it's too late

the presence never frightens me, but there is shock & awe

God is real, it is true : that alone just keeps firing in the synapses, like a firestorm of music
