but it's not like I go out to bother them, I keep to myself

Just musing on how in feudal times the landed aristocracy viewed merchants as beneath contempt. Then the communists showed up and blamed the merchants for all of their woes - with the bloodbaths and theft in their wake.

Warriors and merchants have always had an uneasy sort of alliance of mutually assured destruction - what with warriors needing money and merchants needing arms. They probably never did enjoy socializing much, though.

Today, even the bourgeois hate the bourgeois, and do everything in their power to prove they are something else.

I live in Mass...when the population is sheeple, there is no other word than hate that I can use to express my feelings on the level of stupidity and ignorance that the general population in this state.
