In the days when you could still watch a nature documentary without feeling as if you were sitting through a politics lecture I saw footage of a pack of smaller predators taking down an elephant. At the time I remember thinking: ‘Why don’t you keep running? Why don’t you knock the first one off and keep going?’ Strangely, I thought of that elephant again in the very different savannah of Portland, Oregon.

America is not being brought low by one beast, but by a whole pack of them. These predators include, though are not limited to: ignorance, educational failure, radical indoctrination, pandemic, poverty, narcissism, boredom, the disappearance of the adults, a belief that law enforcement is the enemy and much more. Why America didn’t throw off the first attacker and keep on moving is a question I cannot shake off, whether this pack brings the big beast crashing down or not.

Don't know much about the source or author, but this seems like the most logical explanation as to what is driving the madness - boils down to elites don't believe the Earth can sustain a current American middle class lifestyle for everyone - and so the elite have opted for a CCP oligarchy to force people into a "sustainable" level of living.

I stumbled across this by searching for why the elites want to destroy the middle class - the craziness going on in the world only makes sense to me if one presumes the elites are purposefully trying to dismantle the middle class.

I dont think there is any stopping this - so the best one can do is make your family valuable so you may perhaps be an underlord in the neo-feudalism that is comming.

We're about to go dark ages until the elites feel the population has dropped enough.

I predict new lock downs which will be designed to force mom and pop operations to shutter - forcing those proles into government control. That's why the elites dont give a fuck about inflation - their wealth is mostly assets - so inflation is more of an inconvenience to them...but high inflation combined with lockdowns will send the middle class back to serfdom.

It's not hatred driving this - it's arrogance and a fear of humanity being a plague on the planet.

It's an explanation as to why the elites have chosen to abandon liberty and capitalism in favor of marxism.

I couldn't figure out why the elites want to destroy the system that made them...it's also risky for them bc not all of their decedents will be able to stay in the ruling class - so what would be enough to motivate someone to fuck over their own lineage?

They really believe the proles have to be controlled so the Earth remains liveable.

it's not that the elites are a monolith with a single central plan

they just latch on to whatever they can to stave off revolution

it could change on a dime, if suddenly Enviromentalism becomes a threat to power, then it will crushed

like the Chinese Communist Party is an entity which exists to retain power, by whatever means

the dark age is already here, the children are lost in a technological wilderness already

but the elites are just men, they are not almighty

so the fault is with the masses

Everybody thinks they're superior, and with an aristocracy or Capitalism, they have the power to act superior.

A second generation aristocrat automatically thinks they're superior: how can they not, they're surrounded by people who think they're superior. It's the second most important reason I'm against aristocracy, (the first being that it concentrates liberty.)

With such tremendous amounts of wealth, where 20 people in the U.S. have as much wealth as 100 million, those 20 can do whatever the fuck they want; they aren't bound by market forces: if a bunch of ex-wives & widows of billionaires want Marxism, they can have Marxism; it's not like they have the wisdom that came from earning the money in the first place.

Great wealth & inheritance are bound to do just what they're doing.
