Civility killed civilization just as it built it.

People will exercise their advantages in some things if not for another party agreeing not to exploit their advantage in others: that is a civil society; and it's greased by courtesy & respect for your neighbor's talents & threats. Women were never a party to this agreement: they are under the impression that courtesy is mandatory and respect is optional. They indoctrinate children with egalitarian ideas, of which democracy is the most dangerous. It's not like men don't know what to do to save civilization, they simply don't have the will for it: no man wants to argue with their wife and daughters, nor indeed, push them out of a helicopter.

I recently did a podcast on the movie "Heathers" and one on a great writer I admire Chekhov and the 1977 film An Unfinished Piece for a Mechanical Piano. Both were fun to do but the Chekhov one should be enjoyed with a glass of Madeira and after you've at least read a short story by the man.

God willing I will be recording one on the classic film Conan and Friday one broadly on the Anglo Empire/Civilization. Nothing too broad you know. LMAO.

Dude, put my respect & admiration of you doing these podcasts in a safe place so you can pull them out the next time the weight gets too much to bear.

p.s. As you know, I do a LOT of things that bring no outside appreciation; I’m very familiar with initiative for its own sake.
