Canada is absolutely a cultural wasteland, do not come here looking for culture

what you got here is good looking women, fun in the sun, kicking back with some grilled meats & booze

if you want culture, try Vienna Austria or whatever
Fuck, I can get that on the Costa del Sol.
Spain doesn't have a legal government weed store on every corner or the Horseshoe falls though.
Already been to Vienna and most of the other cultural hotspots in Europe plus Vienna doesn't contain a Smitty. For that pleasure I'll have to cross the Atlantic. I'll come by boat if the opportunity arises.
well it's like the Costa del Sol here, from about May to September

then it turns into Siberia

but in terms of culture, Canadians have no culture of their own, it's all imported, mostly from America
Cheesy chips with gravy and ice hockey are good enough for me, even if they are French and British in origin respectively.
Go Leafs and veggie gravy for me please.
For legal reasons, we are not threatening to destroy U.S. government property with our glorious medieval siege engine. But if we wanted to, we could. But we won’t. But we could.

I think they are making burner phones in that house, based on my surveillance

Of course it will. The monarch's head has appeared on our money for a thousand years or more. There's no reason to believe it won't once Charles becomes King.
I dunno man.
Seems like the Monarch's reign over currency could be easily Markle'd away if enough Twitter or Telegram outrage ensued.

You all will have to start putting locations on your currency or something.
Britannia on one side, Big Ben on the other.

Most people don't know what Big Ben looks like since it's the huge bell inside Elizabeth Tower, formerly known as Clock Tower, at the Houses of Parliament.
If you want to see Big Ben you'd better like walking up stairs.

It's the former Soviets who sound the most interesting.
I don't think I've ever met anyone from the USSR.

Nope, it's the 13 ton bell.

Never confuse being ill informed with being lied to. They are two different things.

Alexei's father, Vlad, who lives in the house next door to Alex & Natalie, was a Soviet diplomat posted to Ottawa

so he fell in love with Canada, and when it came time to escape Russia, he fled here

he's endlessly fascinating to me, he was a boy growing up under Stalin, he's my Soviet historical direct source

but it's not just the Russians, everybody on this street has a right wing anarchist flave to them

this is a town of eccentrics here, I can't deny that I have fallen in love with it over the last 13 years
