You cut the visible roots you don't kill the tree. The only want to cut a tree from the roots it cutting it down.

The root ball that is under the trees is a mass of roots that will survive even if the extended roots are destroyed.

I know this because the same is done by grapes, and I've transplanted trees and various trees in my life.

Grape farms lose everything and they can uproot the root ball in where the vines started from, and they can be back in business within a generation.

The same goes for a tree.

Everyone on here should have a 12ga pump and a .22lr with plenty of ammo for both. If you don’t then take $1,500 and get those two guns and ammo. The .22 needs to be a rifle, not a handgun. Zero excuses to not have these when the shit hits the fan. Those should be your first two guns. AR15 guns come in third.

On a side not for AR15 owners, you might want to consider getting a .300AAC Blackout upper. It will slide right onto your AR15 lower and uses the same mags.
