Could be an actual win but we'll have to see what it shakes out to be.
EARLY FRIDAY, PRESIDENT Joe Biden signed an executive order directing the Federal Trade Commission to draft new regulations limiting device manufacturers’ ability to restrict independent repairs of their products. The new rules for technology manufacturers are part of a sweeping order aimed at a wide range of industries—including banking, tech platforms, labor markets, internet service providers, and airlines—with the collective goal of increasing competition across the US economy.
.....
Reuters reported earlier this week that a draft of the executive order was in the works, and White House press secretary Jen Psaki confirmed on Tuesday that Biden would soon issue an executive order to the US Department of Agriculture that would address farmers’ “right to repair their own equipment how they like.”

That’s a big deal if true. The repair monopoly is absurd.
Also, could have spillover effects into software, and end user rights to modify code.

‘Corporations are people’.
Nah, I think he took care of that on his own. Might be a corporate whore, but blackmail was hardly necessary.

Until there is legislature or an amendment defining corporations as their own kind of entity I'm not sure there is any other way to treat corporations within the context of our current legal framework.

I totally disagree. I can tell a corporation from a person every single time.
