Exactly. Eat the elephant one bite at a time. Slaying the Teachers' unions is too big a hill to climb right now but getting the money to follow the students is an achievable goal in this current climate. I see it as "they done did fucked up with the lockdowns". The majority of the parents that were in the rut of drop kids off, pick kids up while I, we, go to work was interrupted. Now if just a few percentage points of those parents go "WTF, are they doing? We aren't doing that!" and demand something else, the whole house of cards collapses.
What part of some states that are so leftist that they don't care what is going on in the schools? It seems only a minority do, and although loud, it is not enough to ever make a difference where it counts. There is a reason why people are in the same position for 30+ years.

Dismantling the unions are the easiest thing to do because once you take away the seat of power, the rest will fall to the wayside because the protection system will not be in place that has allowed bad people to be protected for way too long.
But how do you dismantle the unions? And how do you get people on board with it? It is like attacking a porcupine. If you attack from the wrong angle you end up only doing harm to yourself. You are only going to make progress if you can locate and attack the weak spots. Often you have to make indirect attacks, because you can attack directly. School choice is an indirect attack. It gives some power back to the parents, which means less power for the unions. Just because some parents wouldn't care does not mean it wouldn't be a powerful tool to change the course of public education.
Word up. That's what I am talking about. A tipping point of parents have been exposed to this horseshit now let us hope that they can get weaponized. Kill the teachers' union!

SJWs are a natural consequence of corporatism.

The entire education system needs to be revamped, so where do you start? The idea of taking small bites works, but what you need to do is fight the fight as well. You do it at the school boards, you draw attention at the committees, play dirty...

Work your way in, fight harder, and move to the point where you are recognizable, push and then get yourself into a situation where you can make decisions, either by election, or by the voice of the mob. People need to stop playing the gentlemen's game, they need to learn from the Democrats.

They took over the educational system, if you aren't willing to do the same thing, then you are playing the wrong game.

Martin and I live in the Belly of the Beasts... we see how hopeless it looks every day... we see the mountain of political bullshit we need to climb just to be noticed... If I can see a way out of this, then someone else needs to be able to as well. The government is not the end-all say-all, it may act like it, but we have a voice too, and if you think it's impossible to use it... you really need to grow a spine.

We haven't won, they are going underground and subversive. But we have rallied Americans against this. They are attempting to lull us into thinking it's still not happening.

The golden lining of this is that it shook soccer moms into consciousness, and for the first time made them question the education establishment.

Don't know what the end result is, but there's a bunch of pissed off soccer moms that are organizing to protect their cubs.

Homeschooling doubled from pandemic’s start to last fall
Black households saw the largest jump in rates of homeschooling, going from 3.3% in the spring to 16.1% in the fall. The rate for Hispanic households of any race went from 6.2% to 12.1%. It went from 4.9% to 8.8% for Asian households, and from 5.7% to 9.7% for non-Hispanic white households.

Some states saw bigger jumps than others. Alaska went from 9.6% of households to 27.5% of households. In Florida, the rate jumped from 5% to 18.1%, and it grew in Vermont from 4.1% to 16.9%.

Even Massachusetts, which has some of the nation’s best public schools, went from 1.5% of households to 12.1% of households with school-aged children homeschooling.

Among the nation’s largest metro areas, Detroit, Phoenix and Boston had the largest increases.

The percent of homeschooling from 'normal' TRIPLED from pre-pandemic levels. In 2019 it was 3% +.

Homeschooling has become a hockey stick graph.

And Homeschooled kids do better academically

Keep pushing CRT and GD fuckers, that will double again in a year, and start to be a real impact on State run facilities.
