My wife wanted to take me to Denny’s in Portland. After an excruciating long wait in traffic we pulled in the parking lot on Hayden Island. It was filled with tents. After another excruciating long wait for a table we were seated next to the bathroom which is homeless central. There was a constant stream of people in-and-out of there; 100 maybe in just the 20 minutes we were there. Jesus Fucking Christ, who are the people who put up with this shit? The infection is creeping towards where I live. There’s tents starting to accumulate right outside our perimeter fence.

Ah, that's right - the government.
Man, I bet they could subsidize a whole lot more of that if we let them fleece the dead.
I bet we could triple the tent dwelling addict class easy, just take more money from people, and shove it into the homeless-subsidizing government's hands.


Back before government there wasn't a wealth redistribution mechanism that allowed tens of thousands of people to survive by loitering and shooting up smack in a tent all day.
