I have a job that pays decent, so I don't qualify for any of the "help the poor" handouts, but I'm not so rich and connected that I can get in on any of the "corporate welfare" handouts either.
I know this feeling.
I think we all do.
not me, I gorged myself on free money already

I feel like I have attained a wealthy lifestyle by my modest standards, so I am quite satisfied

I think we all do.
Free loaders over me, free loaders under me.

Average working people still make up nearly 80% of this country. We outnumber them badly, hence the divide and conquer strategy.

We have 20% welfare people that will never produce. Then the 1% who want to ride some grift or a Monopoly reinforced by Gov regulations. Then us.
I’m pretty stunned that we haven’t seen massive middle class protests like the 70s. Covid has been a blank check for the government, but it can’t last.
SJWs are a natural consequence of corporatism.

Almost 50 years of marxist public schools, media and pop culture... don’t be naive...

The vast majority of us make $30-$300k. That encompasses everything from the working poor to the upper middle class.

And just about every policy of our government is working against us.

with the contraction of the hegenomy the elites have begun to plunder the state itself

"corporate welfare" is just a euphemism for piracy

the role of the government is to keep you in check, divided & conquered, paralysis by analysis

this gives the elites the freedom of action to loot the place, while you are arguing amongst yourselves

This dude shows how you can invest in dividend stocks, and effectively earn enough passive income to pay your monthly rent/mortgage. It's not cheap, and it can take up to 15 years to pull off. But if retirement is more than 15 years away for you, may be worth considering.
