I suspect it's an engineered excuse for soaring fuel prices. My wife has been tracking gas prices, about 6 weeks ago she said it's going up a nickle a week, and shes dead on.

In today's disinformation age there is no way the common people will ever know the truth. It could just as easily be a foreign country testing us as some self-righteous hackers, to our own government. I don't anyone that doesn't live under my roof.

One thing I am confident of is that America looks (well, is) incredibly weak today compared to when Trump was in charge, and that was only a few months ago.

I mean, its totally plausible that it is just a high profile ransomware attack from a hacker group in Russia or Eastern Europe, considering they've been successful at it for so long. These ransomware attacks are quite common.

Looks like the theory is based on the attackers malware being written to avoid operating in Russia and Russian-speaking countries. That's not entirely unusual for Russian threat groups - to hardcode their malware to avoid targeting Russia.

Of course, other attack groups who aren't targeting Russia anyway can always use the same malware. So it's a bit of a leap to assume the attackers are Russian, when they could simply be using Russian tools.

If any unnamed alphabet agencies were inclined to false-flag a cyberattack as a Russian operation, it would make sense that they took steps to make it look as Rooskie as possible, eh?

Anyway, without a direct line to blame the previous administration for what's coming down the pike at us like a rocket sled, who better than Ivan to tag with a triggering event?
