I'm within driving distance to a huge lake. The town I moved to is away from the Urban sprawl, and very quiet, with early 20th century buildings with still operating businesses within. I've replaced the fusebox with a breaker box, added gutters to the roof, and I'm planning to re-do the plumbing with my dad. It was built in 1950, and has some really nice wooden siding.

Corporate real estate crash could be on its way. Companies making positions remote on a permanent basis is very tempting. However that would take two or three years to play out.

near term covid related, on the longer view the property even without the building on it, is exponentially valuable

at the corporate level they will knock down offices and replace them with condos, ain't no thang
