Beautiful day dawning in Napa North...
Not a cloud in the sky.
The pool is open.
My daughter and wife have made amends.
The young one is looking up to her Mom for the first time since COVID brought her teenage world crashing down.
She has made a circuit of the girl politics of her new high school and faced down a powerful adversary (frienemy)... learning some important lessons in girl politics.
She is a formidable woman already at 16.
Life is good on the Ark of Freedom.

Nice sunny morning watching tv with my boys. Getting ready to finish hanging walls in my new bathroom. Fixed the dryer, the garbage disposal, and sump pump this week. Smooth operation.
Bought a giant camping tent yesterday so we can start going on adventures together. First, the backyard. Then, the world.

Served 7 take away Sunday roasts at the pub today.
About 5 miserable looking drunkards standing around a smoky fire in an oil drum like an AA meeting gone wrong.
Being open again isn't all it's cracked up to be.
May get better when they're allowed indoors in a couple of weeks time.
