I'm Gen-X and my kids are Gen-Z. They are like I was in their age. Totally cynical about their woke teachers and the over politicized curriculum. They manipulate and play their teachers like instruments, ferreting out their political affiliations (mostly vegan leftist environmentalists) and writing papers catering to their beliefs. They joke about woke advertising and makes fun of political correctness, but only among friends, not in school. Likewise, they say most kids are like that. Some are brainwashed NPCs, but those are the minority. Mostly feminazis. That is the worst cult.

My kids are the same way. I think you’re right about Gen Z. Millennials by in large are just a waste of human flesh. I feel bad for the few outliers.

I actually pitied my Millennial brothers for being helicopter parented, I could see them being spoiled in real time

despite their outward appearances of being lefty hippie types, our teachers actually abused us criminally

like they would lose their tempers and start kicking & punching us

this is in grade school mind you, we were just little kids

that definitely put me off school, but then I found a new model teacher in the army

in the army the teachers led from the front by example

and they were men of iron, impressive, something to emulate

That is what Gen X keeps saying - but given their desperation to knock Millennials down a few pegs and prove how great Gen X is, I am getting the sense they are more deeply psychologically wounded than they let on.

I don't say Generation X is great

I silent generation cannot be great by definition, silent generations pass without being noticed

I just say that Generation X has done better with the cards we were dealt

we enjoy life more than Millennials do, we are not so neurotic

I try to pass on the freedom of being a slacker to Millennials

but they just spit out the bit, Millennials wallow in their miseries

Millennials are too much in their own heads, they can't relax in the saddle
