Pitched about 3 tons of straw today.
First threshing for about 5 months so I'm hurting tonight.
For legal reasons, we are not threatening to destroy U.S. government property with our glorious medieval siege engine. But if we wanted to, we could. But we won’t. But we could.

No snow here, but summer is the worst time for outdoor exercise here.

You know, a lot of people capped on DSL for going hardcore on weights and working out, but he was absolutely right. Gotta get buff and run hills.

Truthfully I'd been slacking on working out for a really long time, but this last year I been going hard on the big lifts and cardio. Its s to admit that I couldn't do a single pullup when I started up. I's like, damn, fucking private pyle over here. I can hit 12 now and the garage is full of iron.

I put on some muscle and am running, biking and whatnot. Driving my wife nuts. In a good way. Lol

years in the infantry has taken its toll, so I speed march instead of run now

I can speed march faster than my wife can run

I gotta try to conserve my hip sockets at this age in terms of high impact

my knees are stiff now, it's like running on boards, the arthritis is starting to set in

Well I'm not 20, I really try to listen to my body, cus my joints, shoulders especially, aren't all rubbery anymore and they will holler when things aren't right. In fact, pains from desk sitting partially prompted me to get going. I dont wanna be like older guys at work, throwing their backs out tying their shoelaces.

So its slow and steady, keeping the ego in check staying safe, but still going hard. Feeling damn good these days.

yeah, I got nothing to prove at this point

it's pure vanity to be honest, I'm just staying slim, just because I like to look good in my clothes

I have done the military Ironman several times over, that's a young man's game
